Global Shop is an annual event specifically targeting retail designers. This year’s conference is being held March 18th – 20th at The Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. There are 6 sections to suit a wide variety of in-store solutions. It’s really like 6 shows in one! These various sections encompass store fixturing, visual merchandising, store design and operations, digital stores, retail marketing services and at-retail marketplaces. We’re excited to be exhibiting as part of the Materials Pavilion again this year. We’ll be featuring some of our hot 3DL colors and designs for 2014. Hopefully many of you are planning on attending and will stop by the Materials Pavilion.
The pre-conference portion begins on Monday, March 17th with a bevy of knowledgeable speakers. The actual conference starts Tuesday, March 18th, with sessions including Organization with Heart, Big Ideas from EuroShop and Seven Shopping Myths Busted. Wednesday and Thursday feature more sessions guaranteed to enrich and inform. The expo portion of the show is open from 10am – 5pm Tuesday, March 18th and Wednesday, March 19th. Thursday, March 20th the hours are shortened to 10am – 2pm.
There are a couple of special events to attend along with the conference. After the pre-conference speakers, there will be a St. Patrick’s Day party from 7pm – 10pm at the miX Lounge at the top of THEhotel. On the opening evening, you can attend a reception at the House of Blues in the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
